Title: UX/UI Designer

Location: Remote (Latin America)

Type: Contract, Part Time (20-25 hours per week maximum)

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Overview:

A leading provider of home warranty and service solutions is seeking a UX/UI Designer to support digital initiatives across its customer-facing platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong visual design skills, an understanding of user-centered design principles, and experience working in fast-paced Agile environments. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, meticulous, and capable of working independently within established design systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive, user-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms using Figma
• Contribute to and maintain scalable design systems and UI kits with consistency and reusability in mind
• Create and refine responsive designs, prototypes, and interaction flows with a mobile-first mindset
• Apply best practices in typography, layout, spacing, and component use within established token systems
• Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and adhere to usability heuristics
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams, including product managers, developers, and QA
• Document design decisions and user flows using tools like Confluence and JIRA
• Present a portfolio that demonstrates polished visual design, clean interaction flows, and thoughtful UX solutions

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Product / UI Design roles
• Deep proficiency in Figma (auto layout, variables, prototyping, design tokens, etc.)
• Experience with UI Kits
• Experience working within and contributing to robust design systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Understanding of UX best practices, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and responsive design
• Experience working in Agile environments with tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to provide Figma-based portfolio samples during the interview process
