Position Overview:
Gravity is actively seeking a Lead UX Designer to join a high-impact digital product team focused on delivering modern, user-centered web and mobile experiences. This individual will be responsible for leading UX strategy and execution across a portfolio of enterprise platforms, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define design standards, optimize user journeys, and elevate overall customer satisfaction.
This is a senior-level, hands-on contributor role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design innovation, product strategy, and business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead UX strategy, design direction, and execution across multiple digital products and platforms.
- Create high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that bring concepts to life.
- Establish and scale design systems to ensure visual and functional consistency across teams.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and key stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Facilitate design reviews and lead user research initiatives to inform decisions and uncover pain points.
- Analyze user behavior and product performance metrics to continuously optimize design solutions.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design best practices across all digital touchpoints.
- Drive cross-functional alignment on design strategy through strong communication and storytelling.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to improving internal design processes and toolkits.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design across responsive web and mobile platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision or Axure.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and design systems.
- Ability to conduct and apply user research, usability testing, and data analysis to design decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills—able to speak the language of both design and business.
- Experience working within Agile product development environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing for enterprise software or customer portals.
- Background in e-commerce, SaaS, or other customer-facing digital product design.
- Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML/CSS/JS) is a plus.
- Exposure to accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design standards.
