THE ROLE & WHY IT EXISTS

Gravitee.io is taking APIs to the next level, we are the premier open source API platform and we want everyone to know how amazing our software is. To make this happen, we are looking for someone passionate, curious and ambitious. This is where you come in.

We are currently recruiting for a Web & SEO Specialist to own and optimise our global web presence, ensuring Gravitee.io delivers world-class digital experiences that drive growth, engagement, and discoverability across both traditional and LLM (AI) search.

This is a hands-on role that blends technical SEO, website ownership, and AI-powered innovation, empowering Gravitee’s marketing and growth teams to achieve their goals faster.

You’ll be the go-to expert for website performance, structure, and technical health, ensuring the Gravitee brand and product story shine across every page.

You will report to the Senior Content Lead and collaborate closely with content, design, demand generation, and product marketing teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Your daily to-do list will feature some or all of the following, but is not limited to:

• Own Gravitee.io end-to-end: Manage day-to-day website updates, structure, and optimisation to ensure a performant, scalable, and visually engaging experience.
• Lead technical SEO & optimisation: Implement schema markup, fix crawl issues, manage redirects, and ensure compliance with Core Web Vitals and page speed benchmarks.
• Drive discoverability in traditional and LLM search: Build and maintain a technical optimisation roadmap designed to support both conventional and AI-driven search visibility.
• Manage CMS & development workflows: Maintain and improve website architecture, templates, and modules in HubSpot; handle updates independently without relying on external developers.
• Integrate AI into workflows: Experiment with AI tools to accelerate development, streamline SEO workflows, and create new interactive experiences (e.g., smart widgets, chat interfaces, or micro web apps).
• Optimise content: Refresh and publish pages, blogs, and resources for maximum SEO impact, including keyword optimisation, metadata, and internal linking.
• Oversee analytics & tagging: Manage Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and cookie consent tools to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with content creators, designers, and demand generation teams to launch new pages and experiments that improve engagement and conversion.
• Monitor and report: Track and report on website performance, SEO progress, and traffic insights to the wider marketing team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS The right candidate will possess at least the following skills, if not more:

• 3+ years of experience in web management, SEO, or front-end development for a B2B SaaS company.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and a working understanding of JavaScript.
• Deep experience with HubSpot CMS (including HubL syntax).
• Hands-on expertise with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console.
• Proven understanding of SEO best practices, technical audits, and site performance optimisation.
• Experience improving Core Web Vitals and page speed metrics.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, ideally with Trello or similar tools.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, HubSpot AI, or similar) to automate or enhance web development, optimisation, and reporting tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset

DESIRED SKILLS - Additionally, these skills are not required, but preferable:

• Experience with schema markup, structured data, and AI search optimisation.
• Familiarity with CDN and hosting management.
• Understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and experimentation tools.
• Comfort running crawls and diagnostics in tools like Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or SEMrush.
• Curiosity about emerging LLM search trends and AI-assisted SEO strategies
