Grateful Giving is a new technology platform that empowers individuals, businesses, and nonprofits to create positive social impact by turning everyday spending into effortless giving.
The Grateful Giving Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are seeking a volunteer fractional Head of Marketing to grow our marketing efforts and increase the impact of our tech nonprofit.
Role description:
- Lead a team of 3-5 additional volunteer marketing professionals to tell the world about Grateful Giving
- Help us build a ripple effect of kindness and generosity that transforms lives and communities
- Strong focus on “doing” with a minimum goal of at least one new public marketing activity per week (social media posts on multiple platforms, blogs or podcasts, press coverage, email newsletters, videos, infographics, etc).
- Overall focus on brand awareness (most of the world has not yet heard of Grateful Giving, and it’s time to change this) and lead generation
Requirements:
- Action oriented
- Personal commitment to social impact
- Willing to commit 10 hours per week to leading our marketing team
- Understanding of the different terminology used when speaking with for-profit businesses vs. nonprofits vs. individual consumers
- Experience using AI tools to enhance and accelerate marketing output
- Great sense of written communication and visual design
- Previous experience leading volunteers
The Grateful Giving team is remote, and the fractional Head of Marketing position can be located anywhere in the United States. As stated in the title, the fractional Head of Marketing is a volunteer (pro bono) role.
