Grain & Berry is a rapidly growing fast-casual superfood brand known for handcrafted menu offerings, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented food, and genuine hospitality. As our franchise system continues to grow, we’re looking for a strategic, collaborative, and highly organized Brand Marketing Manager to help bring our brand to life across every guest touchpoint while supporting franchise success.

Position Overview

The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for executing Grain & Berry’s brand and marketing strategy across the franchise system. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role oversees national marketing campaigns, Local Restaurant Marketing (LRM), franchise support, social media strategy, public relations, influencer marketing, and new restaurant openings while serving as the day-to-day project manager for the marketing department.

This is a highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys turning ideas into action, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and partnering across departments to execute marketing initiatives that drive sales, strengthen the brand, and support franchise growth.

The Brand Marketing Manager will work closely with the Creative Marketing Specialist to bring campaigns and creative concepts to life across all guest touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Campaign Management

• Execute Grain & Berry’s annual marketing calendar, national campaigns, seasonal promotions, Limited Time Offers (LTOs), product launches, and New Restaurant Opening (NRO) marketing initiatives.
• Ensure consistent brand execution across all marketing channels and franchise locations.
• Develop campaign briefs, timelines, and marketing plans while managing projects from concept through execution.
• Collaborate with Operations, Training, Franchise Development, executive leadership, and external partners to successfully launch initiatives.
• Maintain brand standards and marketing resources.

Marketing Strategy & Creative Direction

• Work with Director of Marketing to develop campaign messaging and creative briefs that align with Grain & Berry’s brand positioning and business objectives.
• Partner with the Creative Marketing Specialist to develop marketing assets across digital, print, social media, and in-restaurant channels.
• Review creative assets to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with brand standards.
• Coordinate outside agencies, photographers, vendors, and creative partners as needed.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

• Develop and manage Grain & Berry’s organic social media strategy and content calendar.
• Identify content opportunities, emerging trends, and platform best practices.
• Support influencer partnerships, website content, loyalty marketing, email marketing, SEO initiatives, and digital advertising efforts.

Franchise & Local Restaurant Marketing

• Develop and maintain Local Restaurant Marketing (LRM) programs, playbooks, and turnkey marketing toolkits.
• Support grassroots marketing initiatives including community partnerships, schools, health & wellness outreach, local events, and catering.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day marketing resource for franchisees by providing guidance, reviewing marketing requests, and ensuring brand consistency.
• Support marketing initiatives for new restaurant openings and systemwide programs.

Analytics & Project Management

• Track campaign performance and recommend continuous improvements.
• Monitor restaurant, consumer, and competitive trends.
• Manage multiple concurrent marketing projects while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in brand marketing, franchise marketing, restaurant marketing, or a related role.
• Experience supporting restaurant, hospitality, retail, franchise, or consumer brands preferred.
• Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva with the ability to collaborate on creative projects.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting franchise or multi-unit brands.

• Experience with Local Restaurant Marketing (LRM).

• Experience with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, SOCi, email marketing platforms, or website content management systems.

• Experience supporting new restaurant openings and product launches.
