This is a remote job, but you need to be located in Bucharest. Please do not apply if you are not currently living in Bucharest.
As part of the Data Science team, you will build high-impact data solutions and algorithms that deepen our understanding of global freight markets. Your work will enhance data quality, improve data ingestion pipelines, and answer questions we did not know even existed. You will help us deliver meaningful analytics that empower our customers throughout the entire value chain.

Your profile and experience
We’re looking for a Senior-level candidate to join our team.
The professional skills and competencies we are looking for in a senior-level candidate:
- 4+ years of experience in a Data Scientist role, with a proven ability to lead complex data science or ML projects from conception to deployment.
- Knowing when (not) to use ML or AI.
- Deep expertise in applied statistics, time-series analysis, and ML/AI algorithms.
- Demonstrated experience developing predictive models.
- Excellent proficiency in Python or R.
- Strong proficiency in using SQL and NoSQL.
- Solid experience with dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Streamlit, and Athena.
- Expertise in data visualisation tools and libraries (matplotlib, seaborn, ggplot).
- Excellent knowledge of AWS services (SageMaker, S3, Glue, Athena, QuickSight).
- Proficiency with DevOps and infrastructure tools (Docker, Git, Terraform, Jenkins, Step Functions).
Nice to have:
- Advanced certifications across Snowflake, dbt, or AWS (e.g., ML Specialty, Data Analytics Specialty).
- Experience architecting or scaling production ML systems (e.g., feature stores, MLOps pipelines).
- Experience with Deep Learning frameworks.
- Experience with Spark, and Airflow.
