Senior Software Engineer (Backend & Cloud) – Remote (Brazil)

📍 Location: Brazil – Fully Remote

💰 Compensation: BRL 6,500 monthly + Statutary benefits

📅 Contract: 6 months with possible to extend

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud-native solutions powering modern, high-impact workflows. This role focuses heavily on backend and cloud architecture while maintaining ownership of user-facing features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, distributed systems on AWS (containerized and serverless architectures).
• Develop high-quality, production-ready backend services.
• Architect high-volume data processing and ETL pipelines.
• Build and enhance user-facing features using React and modern web tooling.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and provide technical guidance through code and design reviews.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of software development experience with strong system design background.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Proven experience building scalable, distributed systems.
• Full-stack experience with NodeJS and React (3+ years with React).

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS IoT.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Understanding of machine learning concepts.
