Role: Application Developer

Location: Remote (Colombia)

Rate: $85-90/hr USD

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (10+ years) with deep expertise in FIS Profile (DDA) to support and evolve a highly customized, enterprise-scale banking platform used across multiple international environments. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and enhancing legacy systems while supporting critical banking operations and modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain FIS Profile DDA (v6.2 / AMR99) applications
• Work across 12+ customized environments (EMEA/AD regions)
• Support full SDLC: development, testing, release, and production support
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across payment and system integrations
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on enhancements and system upgrades
• Contribute to major initiatives like Profile upgrades, ACH, cash management, and audit controls.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with FIS Profile (DDA)
• Proficiency in MUMPS, PSL (Profile Scripting Language), and PowerBuilder (PFW)
• Experience supporting legacy, highly customized banking systems
• Strong background in production support and issue investigation
• Familiarity with tools like UrbanCode, Perforce, ServiceNow
• Experience with Profile upgrade/replacement programs (Preferred)
• Exposure to ACH, payments, or cash management systems (Preferred)
• Banking domain experience with deposits, interfaces, reconciliation (Preferred)
