[⚠️ Suspicious Content] Brand and Content Marketing Manager
THE ROLE
Gotham Greens is seeking a strategic Brand and Content Marketing Manager to drive our growth and evolution by increasing household penetration, brand advocacy, and loyalty. In this role, you’ll build brand awareness, engagement, and community across all digital and social channels. You will lead end-to-end content creation and management for social media, websites, email newsletters, and other editorial platforms. You’ll manage communication with influencer and brand partners while actively engaging with our online community. This role is essential for growing our audience organically and through paid media to ensure content fuels business growth. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with the Marketing team to connect content strategy with performance goals.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional copywriter, photographer, and communicator who can build and execute a content strategy that attracts, engages, and activates our target audience. You are digitally-savvy, quick on your feet, obsessed with what’s trending, and love engaging in meaningful conversations. You understand the importance of knowing your audience, what resonates with them, and how to distill complex ideas into fresh, creative, fun, and compelling content.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage editorial content calendar for all social media platforms, supporting large-scale brand initiatives and identifying key moments in culture. Lead the monthly editorial calendar process to review plans and solicit feedback from the broader marketing and cross-functional teams
Drive high-quality, category-leading communications and relevant and engaging content across Gotham Greens’ owned digital properties and multimedia channels, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across diverse touchpoints. Establish Gotham Greens as a best-in-class content creator across key channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, website, and more)
Write, edit, curate, schedule and publish original social media and editorial content that reflects our brand tone and voice
Create, edit, and produce videos and photography for digital channels
Manage and execute social giveaways, brand collaborations and co-promotions
Build and maintain relationships with influencers and content creators
Engage and grow our social community and brand love by monitoring, listening, and responding to consumers in real-time
Maintain a surprise-and-delight mindset by engaging influencers and consumers through creative initiatives, and coordinate assembling and shipping product mailers and coupons as needed to support these efforts
Define and track key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and owned social performance in driving business results. Analyze owned digital and social channel performance (e.g., website traffic, social media following, impressions, and engagement) and provide insightful and actionable reports.
Manage all content updates on gothamgreens.com, including company and product information and journal posts, troubleshoot website issues, and implement performance improvements to enhance the user experience.
Stay current on SEO best practices and tools, and perform keyword research and audits to support content development and improve search rankings.
WHO YOU ARE
3-5 years of experience in marketing with a strong emphasis on digital marketing, website, social media, and campaign and content development with high-growth, social-forward food and/or consumer products brands
Experience managing all major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and TikTok
An eye for design and a passion for creating and producing compelling visual stories, combined with excellent writing skills and the ability to adapt tone and voice for different audiences
Experience using email newsletter, CMS, and analytics tools, including Mailchimp, WordPress, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics
Photography and social video editing skills and experience with editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro
Foundational understanding of SEO and keyword strategies; ability to balance SEO best practices and brand voice/editorial clarity
Obsessed with emerging platforms, internet trends, digital culture, and technology
Ability to analyze performance data, present insights and modify strategies as needed
Well organized and detail oriented. Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive approach to problem-solving
Passion for food, wellness and sustainability
