Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience designing technical, enterprise applications.
  • Experience prototyping designs using tools (e.g., Figma, Canva).
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
  • Experience working collaboratively with and influencing other designers, product managers, and engineers.
  • Ability to understand and communicate abstract, design concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent visual design skills and knowledge of user-centered design principles.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

In an Interaction Designer role, you’ll tackle complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs for billions of people around the world—from the first-time user to the sophisticated expert. Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers and Product Managers throughout the design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them and ensure that the final product surprises and delights them. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Researchers, PMs, Engineers) to envision and deliver high-quality, user-centered design solutions for complex Cloud technologies and compute infrastructure.
  • Translate complex concepts into elegant designs by creating storyboards, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to guide the agile development lifecycle.
  • Leverage actively modern AI-assisted design tools to accelerate ideation and rapid prototyping, focusing craft on solving the highest-impact user tests.
  • Advocate for the user by iterating on designs based on feedback and data-informed insights to ensure products meet business objectives and enterprise use cases.
  • Pitch concepts and manage stakeholder expectations, facilitating engagements to communicate design direction and influence the evolution of the cloud product design system.
