About the Role

We're looking for a remote Lead Nurturing & Automation Specialist to solve our biggest marketing challenge: transforming every touchpoint into a qualified opportunity and ensuring no lead gets left behind.

In this role, you'll own the critical gap in our marketing engine—taking contacts that don't immediately convert and turning them into sales-ready prospects through intelligent automation and nurturing. You'll architect workflows that automatically segment, enrich, and re-engage dormant contacts, turning stale prospects into active opportunities.

You'll work across all touchpoints—website visitors, LinkedIn interactions, Google Ads clicks, email subscribers—creating automated workflows that capture maximum information and turn every interaction into actionable intelligence. This isn't just email marketing; you're building the operational backbone that makes our demand generation engine scalable and intelligent.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE brings 3-5 years of experience in marketing automation, lead operations, demand generation, CRM operations or revenue operations. You have hands-on experience with CRMs, campaign builders, and integration platforms like Zoho, Zapier, and data enrichment tools, plus you've built nurture flows, scoring models, and solutions for segmentation and campaign orchestration. You're a systems thinker with a passion for clean data and measurable outcomes who loves turning messy spreadsheets into structured journey maps with logic, triggers, and AI working together. You think strategically, asking how to scale processes, what signals behaviors send, and how to make everything faster and more personalized. You collaborate as the technical partner to content, lifecycle, and performance teams, bringing structure to creativity while staying excited about AI tools that augment decisions. Above all, you're relentless about conversion—you understand the difference between an MQL and a missed opportunity.

Your performance will be measured by lead-to-MQL conversion rate improvements, reduction in manual campaign deployment time, engagement rates across automated nurture sequences, and lead scoring model accuracy based on sales feedback and pipeline quality.

You'll be part of our GTM Tribe’s Demand Generation Pod, and will collaborate with Campaign Strategists, Email Marketing Specialists, Data Analysts, and regional BDR_s._ You’ll work cross-functionally with Strategic Alliances, Regional Growth, Customer Success, and RFP Pods. This position reports directly to the Head of Demand Generation.

You'll be doing things like:

  • Lead Scoring & Qualification Systems: Build behavioral scoring models based on email opens, website visits, and content engagement; create segmentation that auto-routes leads into appropriate nurture tracks; design MQL qualification workflows that identify sales-ready prospects and trigger handoffs
  • Multi-Channel Lead Capture & Enrichment: Design automated workflows that turn website visitors into qualified leads using IP tracking; create trigger sequences for LinkedIn, Google Ads, and social media interactions; build enrichment logic using tools like Clay to complete missing lead profiles automatically
  • Lead Re-engagement & Recovery Operations: Identify dormant contacts from weeks to years old in the CRM; create automated sequences that re-activate cold leads through surveys and personalized content; build time-based alerts for uncontacted leads; create re-engagement campaigns for sales leads who've gone dark after initial contact
  • Cross-Channel Campaign Coordination: Collaborate closely with Channel Leads, lifecycle teams, and campaign managers to design email, WhatsApp, and SMS campaigns; coordinate messaging timing and cadence across channels; ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints
  • Automation Platform Management: Own Zoho Campaigns, Flow, and Zapier workflows ensuring seamless data flow; maintain clean CRM syncing with consistent attribution tracking; build automated team alerts when leads meet specific scoring or behavioral criteria
  • AI-Powered Testing & Optimization: Implement AI for predictive scoring, dynamic content, and send time optimization; run controlled experiments with documented hypotheses and results; analyze performance data to improve conversion rates and identify new automation opportunities

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of prior experience in roles like Marketing Automation Specialist, Demand Generation Specialist, CRM Operations Specialist, Lead Nurturing Specialist, or Revenue Operations Specialist
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Flow, CRM, and Zapier (or equivalent platforms)
  • Strong understanding of funnel logic, journey design, and lead scoring models
  • Experience with data enrichment tools (Clay) and multi-channel lead capture
  • Experience integrating CRM and marketing automation tools for seamless lead flows
  • Familiarity with AI applications for predictive scoring, dynamic content, and optimization
  • Proven ability to translate campaign goals into executable automation workflows
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data and improve conversions
  • Experience building lead scoring models and MQL qualification processes
  • Collaborative approach translating creative ideas into measurable workflows
  • Comfortable working async across cross-functional teams in remote environments
  • Exceptional attention to detail, documentation discipline, and operational rigor
  • Curious and experimental - always testing, optimizing, and automating

  • AI-powered automation and experimental marketing channel experience
  • Previous involvement in Growth Pods, Agile teams, or Chapter-based organizations
  • Customer journey mapping and lifecycle stage definition knowledge
  • Sales-marketing alignment initiatives and MQL handoff process experience
  • Partner/reseller enablement workflows and multi-touch nurturing strategies
  • Product-led growth knowledge and prior IoT/SaaS industry experience
  • Familiarity with our tools: Zoho One (CRM, Campaigns, Flow, Sites, Social), Google Workspace, MS Excel, ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini, Zapier, Clay, ClickUp, Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads

Position Details

  • Working Hours: Fixed 9-hour shift, 8AM-5PM Eastern Time Zone (Toronto time), inclusive of a 1-hour break
  • Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week, plus an additional 5 hours of break time allocated throughout the week). Exclusivity required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Level: Intermediate (3-5 years of relevant experience)
  • Compensation: ~CAD $1,150–$1,310 (KES 135K–170K)/month, depending on experience. Structured as a Consultant Agreement (independent contractor), meaning you'll be responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and insurance.
