We're seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our growth-focused team, specifically supporting channel initiatives on paid media and CRM campaigns for our CPG food brand clients. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented marketing professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving measurable results for consumer goods brands.

Role Overview

The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in executing marketing campaigns across multiple platforms for our CPG food brand clients. You'll work closely with our Growth Director and creative teams to deploy paid media campaigns on Meta, Google, and TikTok while managing CRM initiatives through platforms like Braze and Klaviyo. This position offers the opportunity to work with leading food brands while contributing to strategic growth initiatives that drive both acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution & Implementation:

  • Campaign Deployment: Execute marketing campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Asset Management: Coordinate with creative teams to ensure timely delivery and proper formatting of campaign assets including images and copy
  • Timeline Management: Ensure all marketing initiatives launch on time according to client calendar and promotional strategies
  • Weekly Reporting: Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations, translating data insights into actionable growth opportunities

CRM Initiatives:

  • Calendar Strategy: Maintain CRM campaign calendars to align with seasonal trends, brand messages, and promotions to meet our clients growth and retention goals
  • Content Briefing: Work collaboratively with the client and copywriters to develop content briefs for creative production
  • Email Building & Publishing: Build, and deploy email campaigns using Braze and Klaviyo, tailored to content calendar in partnership with the creative team
  • Segmentation: Create and deploy customer segments based on purchase behavior, product preferences, and engagement specific to CPG food brands
  • Ensure high quality and error-free implementation, testing and QA of email marketing campaigns
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and report CRM performance metrics, with a focus on insights relevant to food brands
  • Klaviyo or Braze experience is a must; Lytics Audience/segment creation is a plus

Paid Media Initiatives (Meta & TikTok):

  • Campaign Development: Design and execute targeted ad campaigns on Meta, Google, and/or TikTok platforms, specifically for CPG food brands
  • Media Briefing: Work collaboratively with Growth Director and creative team to develop briefs to meet client's testing and forecasting demands
  • Creative Collaboration: Work with creative teams to develop food-focused ad creatives that engage target audiences
  • Audience Targeting: Collaborate with Growth Director and media buying partner to refine audience segments based on consumer behavior and brand goals to maximize ROI
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to meet KPIs unique to the client's forecasts and goals

General:

  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure all activities align with the agency's growth objectives for CPG food brands
  • Problem-Solving Sessions: Address challenges and optimize workflows, considering the unique needs of the CPG food industry

Experience & Skills Required

Required:

  • 2-5 years of digital marketing experience, with a focus on CPG food brands
  • Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and CRM platforms like Braze and Klaviyo
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in the context of consumer goods
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and campaign optimization techniques
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously

Preferred:

  • Industry certifications in Braze, Google Ads, Meta, Shopify, or Klaviyo
  • Experience with additional marketing platforms and tools
  • Background working with food and beverage brands specifically
  • Advanced analytics and data visualization skills
