Senior Data Scientist (CPG/Retail experience preferred)

Location: Latin America (Remote)

Open to:

- Must be available for an 8-hour shift (6:30 AM 3:30 PM Mexico City Time) to align with the India team members.

- Occasional weekend support (23 times per year) may be required, with a weekday off in exchange.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in designing and deploying data-driven solutions across diverse industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in time series forecasting and demand planning, with a proven ability to work across global teams and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.

Technical Skills and Platform Expertise

• 7+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on designing and implementing predictive models.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in time series forecasting for demand planning.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark, with strong coding skills for data manipulation, modeling, and pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and the Azure technology stack, including:
• Azure Data Lake
• Azure Data Factory

Non-Technical Skills & Requirements

• Language: Spanish speaker with strong English communication skills (to collaborate with Spanish-speaking demand planners and English-speaking IBP technical teams).
• Personal Attributes:
• Highly proactive and a fast learner.
• Strong process orientation; must be comfortable working with demand planners across multiple countries, documenting observations and actions.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating ADO and ServiceNow tickets.
