Lead Software Engineer(Netsuite)

Role: NetSuite Implementation Lead / Architect (Techno-Functional)

Start: Immediate (April–May)

Role Overview:

Establish a new NetSuite environment as part of broader enterprise application regionalization initiative.

Unlike a traditional lift-and-shift migration, this initiative will implement a clean NetSuite instance from scratch, leveraging native NetSuite capabilities and minimal customization, followed by controlled migration of relevant data from the existing NetSuite environment.

To lead this initiative, we are seeking a Senior NetSuite Implementation Lead / Architect (Techno-Functional) who can design the target NetSuite architecture, establish configuration standards, and build a small implementation team to execute the NetSuite workstream in parallel with the broader application separation program.

Key Responsibilities:

NetSuite Greenfield Implementation Leadership

• Lead the design and implementation of a new NetSuite environment for International
• Establish a configuration-first architecture using native NetSuite capabilities
• Define implementation standards that minimize customization and technical debt
• Techno-Functional Solution Architecture
• Design the end-to-end NetSuite solution architecture
• Balance functional configuration and technical extensions
• Guide developers on appropriate use of scripts, integrations, and customizations

NetSuite Setup & Configuration:

Lead configuration across key NetSuite modules including:

• Financials
• Order Management
• Procurement
• Inventory Management
• Supply Chain operations
• NetSuite WMS (where applicable)

Data Migration Strategy:

• Define and execute data migration from the existing NetSuite environment
• Identify data to migrate vs data to archive
• Design migration validation and reconciliation processes

Team Leadership:

Build and lead a small NetSuite implementation team, including:

• NetSuite Developers
• Functional consultants
• Data migration specialists
• Coordinate closely with IT and business teams

Integration & Ecosystem Alignment:

• Define integration patterns between NetSuite and surrounding systems

Coordinate with integration teams for:

• Boomi
• EDI platforms
• Logistics / execution systems
• Data and reporting platforms

Program Alignment

• Operate the NetSuite implementation as a dedicated swimlane within the broader separation program
• Coordinate milestones with the parallel application cloning workstream
• Support testing, cutover, and stabilization planning

Required Skills

• 15+ years of NetSuite experience
• Proven experience leading NetSuite greenfield implementations
• Strong expertise across both functional configuration and technical architecture
• Deep understanding of NetSuite financials, distribution, and operational workflows

Hands-on experience with:

• SuiteScript
• NetSuite integrations
• Data migration strategies
• Ability to lead cross-functional implementation teams

Preferred Experience

• Experience implementing NetSuite for distribution or supply chain organizations
• Experience minimizing customization and technical debt in NetSuite environments
• Experience supporting NetSuite implementations alongside enterprise system transitions

Success Profile:

The ideal candidate is a hands-on NetSuite architect who can both design the target system and lead execution, ensuring the new NetSuite environment is clean, scalable, and aligned with organizations operational needs.
