Data Scientist

We are seeking a Data Scientist with experience in transportation analytics and strong proficiency in Python to join our team. You will be responsible for analyzing complex transportation datasets, optimizing logistics operations, and developing predictive models to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement machine learning models to optimize transportation networks.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Utilize Python for data processing, visualization, and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve routing, scheduling, and fleet management.
• Design and maintain data pipelines for real-time transportation analytics.
• Conduct statistical analysis to support business decisions.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders through reports and dashboards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.).
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Knowledge of transportation modeling, optimization algorithms, and geospatial analysis.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with GIS tools for transportation mapping.
• Understanding of supply chain analytics and demand forecasting.
• Ability to work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
