Go Local Promotions is a U.S.-based creative production agency leading the Global Travel Retail space through bold retail displays and immersive brand activations. We design and fabricate everything from eye-catching retail furniture to large-scale experiential builds and sampling vehicles for some of the world’s top brands.

We’re looking for a Senior Industrial Designer based in Colombia who can bring innovative ideas to life—merging creativity, technical expertise, and real-world production knowledge. This role requires not just designing beautiful spaces, but also understanding how to make them functional, buildable, and unforgettable.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop retail displays, branded environments, custom furniture, and event activations from concept to build.
Create 3D animations and walkthroughs that allow clients to experience activations virtually before they’re built.
Collaborate closely with carpenters, engineers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure designs are structurally sound, practical, and aligned with production capabilities.
Recommend materials, finishes, and construction methods that balance creative intent, durability, and cost-efficiency.
Problem-solve build challenges (e.g., re-engineering vehicles for mobile activations or complex structural elements).
Stay up-to-date on the latest in 3D rendering, animation, AI design tools, and fabrication technologies.
Participate in client-facing creative meetings in English and support cross-functional teams with presentations, technical drawings, and production files.

Who You Are

A seasoned designer with 5+ years of experience creating displays, branded environments, or spatial builds—ideally in retail or experiential marketing.
Proficient in CAD and 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, Fusion 360, Rhino, AutoCAD, or similar).
Skilled in rendering and animation software such as Twinmotion, Unreal Engine, Blender, KeyShot, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of fabrication methods, CNC cutting, prototyping, and mixed materials (wood, metal, acrylic, lighting).
Able to balance conceptual creativity with production practicality.
Comfortable working in English and Spanish, especially for client presentations and design reviews.
Bonus: Experience with project management, production planning, or working directly with manufacturers.

💵 Compensation

$7,000,000 – $9,000,000 COP/month gross
(Approx. $1,700 – $2,200 USD/month)
Higher range available for candidates with strong animation, creative leadership, or production coordination skills.
