The Gig:
As a Senior Marketing Automation Consultant, you’ll step into the driver’s seat, helping clients untangle big problems and get their marketing operations running like a well-oiled machine. You’ll lead projects, mentor junior consultants, and turn chaos into streamlined processes—all while keeping an eye on the client’s bottom line.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead client projects from start to finish, shaping the strategy, driving the conversations, and ensuring ideas turn into well-executed campaigns that actually move the needle.
- Own the technical setup and optimization of platforms like Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Pardot, being hands-on with automation, segmentation, and data flow.
- Manage CRM and lifecycle alignment by handling Salesforce syncs, field mapping, lead routing, and making sure lifecycle stages reflect reality, not just what’s in a slide deck.
- Collaborate with clients to untangle messy processes, simplify workflows, and make complex systems easier to manage and scale.
- Translate data into insight by analyzing campaign performance, attribution, and engagement to present results that actually mean something to revenue teams.
- Guide the room by leading conversations confidently with marketing and sales stakeholders, balancing strategic thinking with platform detail.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing what you’ve learned, reviewing their work, and helping them think through problems, not just execute tasks.
- Take initiative when something looks broken, inefficient, or unclear. You don’t wait for someone to tell you to fix it.
- Bridge strategy and execution while being comfortable switching between high-level GTM discussions and hands-on operational work in automation platforms.
- Keep clients aligned and informed by staying proactive with communication, timelines, and expectation management so delivery never feels like a black box.
Who You Are:
You know your way around messy systems and demanding clients. You’re the person people call when the data doesn’t make sense, the sync breaks, or leadership wants answers by EOD. You think in both logic and strategy, and you actually enjoy getting things across the finish line.
- 5+ years in marketing operations, with at least 3 years in a consulting role.
- Confident in your ability to troubleshoot, strategize, and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Deeply familiar with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Proactive as hell—when you see something that can be improved, you don’t hesitate to act.
- Gritty enough to power through challenges without losing your cool.
