GMIC AI INC is a California‑rooted hardware studio with deep ODM/OEM expertise in voice‑first, wearable AI devices. We help partners jump‑start their product lines into the AI age—designing, prototyping, and shipping custom microphones, ear‑clips, and badge sensors that talk fluently to large‑language‑model agents. Beyond white‑label builds, we offer turnkey solution stacks and seek strategic alliances with healthcare, retail, and other vertical‑AI software companies.
The Challenge
We already have engineering muscle and early pilot wins. What we need now is a hands‑on Team Lead who can align Content → Marketing → Sales so every story we tell lands as a qualified lead or signed PO.
What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership & Rhythm
- Guide a 5‑10 person squad covering content creation, growth marketing, and customer success; run weekly stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and lightweight OKRs.
- Go‑to‑Market Execution
- Turn product specs (wearable mics, voice hubs, custom ODM builds) into compelling decks, landing pages, and demo scripts targeted at healthcare and retail AI partners.
- Pipeline & Metrics
- Own the top‑of‑funnel calendar (LinkedIn posts, newsletters, conferences) and track MQL → SQL conversion in HubSpot or similar.
- Customer Storytelling
- Capture pilot data, craft case studies, and feed insights back to engineering for the next firmware drop.
- Culture Builder
- Model a culture of sharp kindness, curiosity, and bias‑for‑action; help new hires ramp fast.
What You Bring
- 1‑3 years in GTM, growth, or product marketing for B2B tech; experience with hardware or edge‑AI a plus.
- Proven record running or mentoring a small team (5‑10 people) and shipping projects on time.
- Comfortable speaking both engineer and marketer—can translate BLE packet rates into plain English value props.
- Fluent English; Mandarin or Spanish helpful but not required.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Greater Los Angeles (hybrid ≈ 60 % on‑site).
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- Real hardware, real impact. Your launch materials translate directly into devices on surgeons’ coats and retail associates’ lanyards.
- High ownership. We’re small enough that good ideas ship next sprint.
- Global leverage. Shenzhen speed + California polish.
- Learning curve. Voice UX, LLM agents, RF tuning—you’ll see it all.
