Hi, this is Ana, the founder & CEO of Hormone University.
Our mission is to be the leading hormonal wellness destination trusted for its educational content, community support and efficacious product solutions.
I founded this company out of my own personal struggles with Endometriosis and major hormonal imbalances. Most women have a hormone story - in fact, 80% of women suffer from hormonal imbalance at some point in their lives. Yet, the topic is still a taboo and we’re here to break that silence. That’s why we have developed a game-changing range of products for people to manage and treat hormonal health: from menstrual symptoms, menopause, stress & sleep, sexual health and gut.
We are very mission-driven and love our customers: We listen with the aim to support them and create community. We are obsessed over every detail to make our customers feel themselves again, find hormonal balance, inform themselves and feel safe and protected by us. Trust is key for us. Without trust we cannot succeed in helping them. You will need to be observant, curious and open with everything that you do.
Hormone University is already becoming the destination for hormonal health, and we are looking for the best team to do it.
Some of the things we would have expected you to do in the past, or that you will be doing are:
- Previous experience in marketing roles in an Omnichannel environment: digital marketing, AI, retail, e-commerce platforms.
- Experience in early stages, flat structures. You’re used to owning your work and rolling up your sleeves.
- Worked at management level in a marketing function, ideally owning strategy and marketing budgets
- Lead Omnichannel Marketing strategy and activities from ideation all the way to execution with consistent focus on growth and profitability across different markets
- Ownership of acquisition, conversion and retention strategies to increase LTV
- Proven track record of developing effective and engaging digital, offline and retail content strategies, campaigns and storytelling across all platforms and brand touchpoints
- Builds partnerships to increase brand awareness, customer base, and increase frequency of online visits and drive conversion
- Coordination of paid media, email Marketing, influencer marketing for our DTC site using an attribution system and with total ownership of our influencer process and affiliate programs.
- Be the guardian of our brand, ensure all assets are up to date in each of our channels. Constantly looks to improve them with better imagery, videos and copy.
- Own all website improvements, closely monitoring performance, and optimizing for conversion over time.
- Oversees organic social media presence, including establishing high-level strategy with our SM manager
- Analyzes shoppers’ behavior, website traffic and monitors CAC, CPC and other performance indicators
- Analytical and uses data to drive impactful insights. Actively measures and audits the results of marketing activities to inform future marketing campaigns
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate findings into strategic recommendations. An experimentation mindset is key, as we are a young brand with a lot to learn about our audience. You will formulate educated hypotheses and use an MVP testing framework to test those and roll out learnings.
- Researches and analyzes Competitors & Trends in the industry
- Day-to-day point of contact for external vendors/agencies
- Evaluate external partners performances
- No request is too small or large: entrepreneurial approach to creating, implementing, growing and managing marketing initiatives that achieve profitable results in performance and affiliates.
Brand
- Ensure brand consistency across properties, messages, channels and assets
- Partner and supervise Social Media Manager to ensure growth on social media KPIs
- Review Social Media content monthly and weekly
- Create best in class email marketing content strategy and flow
- Write creative briefs whenever needed
- Lead influencer marketing strategy: key influencers/digital creators/brand ambassadors and recommend/identify new possible partners
