They're looking for a Senior Software & Platform Engineer to help drive the future of their payments network. Expect bleeding-edge technology, a culture that prioritizes deep work over red tape, and a team that values real ownership.

An ideal candidate is someone with strong expertise in Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Prometheus. You will also have significant production experience working with Go. A genuine passion for improving platform developer experience, scalable infrastructure, APIs, and automation is essential. Additionally, experience in the financial, retail, or blockchain technology sectors would be considered a plus.

What you'll do:

Collaborate closely with our Staff Platform & Software Engineer to support infrastructure initiatives, while partnering with product-focused engineers to build a secure, scalable, and efficient platform.
Develop clean, reusable, and well-tested services and libraries that are easy to maintain and enhance by you and your teammates.
Take ownership and responsibility for key components of the company's infrastructure, ensuring their reliability and performance.
Diagnose, debug, and enhance existing systems, and contribute to the development and integration of new features or automation pipelines as needed.
Implement and maintain telemetry and metrics to ensure visibility and observability across the company's infrastructure.
Engage in code reviews to both give and receive constructive feedback, fostering continuous improvement across the team.
Participate in the engineering team's on-call rotation to support incident response and maintain system uptime.

You should have:

A strong motivation to enhance the developer experience (DX) by designing infrastructure workflows that emphasize repeatability, testability, and maintainability.
Deep expertise in tools and platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, Helm, Prometheus/PromQL, Docker, and CI/CD systems; familiarity with Cloudflare is a plus.
Extensive hands-on experience automating systems and solving complex problems using languages like Python, Ruby, Bash, Perl, or similar.
A meticulous approach to quality, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to thoroughness in every aspect of your work.
