Data Scientist

We are currently looking for a Data Scientist, to join our client in the Pharmaceutical industry. The offices are near Manchester. You can work in that office or decide to work the role mostly remote.

The role will be a contract role, initially 6+ months, but this will be extended long-term.

For this role - they will look at mainly around the 1-2 years of experience mark - to work closely with a more Senior employee. Tasks will begin slightly lower level but with a view to increase.

Project Overview

You will work closely with the Data Scientist in the team, to share tasks and help with the increased workload of the project.

They work on training optimizing ML and NLP models and architecture building and maintenance and experience with LLMs.

Experience

• Azure Cloud experience
• LLMS/RAG
• ML/NLP algorithms/models
• Training regression models; evaluating model performance.
• Writing SQL queries.
