Junior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Scientist to join our client's team based in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling, with a minimum of 4 years of total data-related experience and at least 1 year of experience in data science. The Junior Data Scientist will work closely with our data team to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems
• Apply traditional statistical analysis techniques, such as regression, hypothesis testing, and confidence intervals, to drive business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
• Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning
• Participate in the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure and architecture

Requirements:

• 4+ years of total data-related experience, with at least 1 year of experience in data science
• Strong foundation in statistical analysis, including traditional statistical techniques such as regression, hypothesis testing, and confidence intervals
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and deep learning
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL or Python
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze large datasets
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
