Python Software Engineer

About the Role:

We’re looking for an innovative and skilled AI Engineer to join our team at GlobalLogic! In this role, you'll help design and build next-generation AI infrastructure and tooling — from vector stores to embedders, document loaders, retrievers, and beyond.

You’ll work with a modern tech stack that includes Python, Go, TypeScript, and GCP/Firebase, supporting projects with real-world impact across multiple industries. This is your chance to be at the forefront of applied AI and shape the tools that developers use every day!

What You’ll Do:

• Build and implement robust, scalable AI infrastructure — including vector stores, embedders, document loaders, and retrievers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions.
• Work with Firebase Genkit, LangChain/LangGraph, or similar LLM toolkits.
• Create efficient data pipelines, data processing workflows, and AI-ready infrastructure.
• Work with various languages like Python, Go, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Design and implement scalable APIs, algorithms, and data structures for AI applications.
• Stay up to date with advancements in AI, NLP, LLMs, and machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

Must-have skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one additional programming language (Go or TypeScript/JavaScript preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and Firebase.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and also independently.
• English level: Advanced (you’ll work with international teams 🌍).

Nice to have:

• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar libraries.
• Hands-on knowledge of Firebase Genkit.
• Familiarity with natural language processing and large language models.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Background in building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
