Requirements

A stellar engineer with a rare combination of theory and practice:

Languages & Frameworks

Expert-level JavaScript (React Native preferred)
Solid experience in C/C++ (or C++/Rust mix) on mobile or embedded platforms

Compiler & VM Expertise

Deep, practical understanding of compilers, bytecode generation, and virtual machines
Experience with ahead‑of‑time compilation, JIT, and static optimization
Hands-on with HermesJS or similar engines (JavaScriptCore, V8, etc.)

Toolchain Integration

Familiarity with LLVM and low‑level code translation
Knowledge of React Native precompilation workflows (bytecode generation, HermesJS, V8)

Proven Track Record

A degree or comparable experience in compiler/VM development
Contributions to open source projects or relevant technical publications
Real‑world experience engineering performance‑critical systems

Job responsibilities

Optimizing how React Native apps are transformed into native processor code
Enhancing compilation performance, reducing launch times, and improving runtime efficiency
Deep integration with HermesJS and/or other JS engines (e.g., JavaScriptCore, V8)
Contributing to low‑level toolchains: from JS → bytecode → LLVM → native
Analyze and optimize compilation pipelines for React Native
Implement and refine Hermes-based (or similar) transformation from JS to native code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system‑wide performance
Contribute to toolchain documentation, tests, and best practices
