Department/Project Description

We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer with strong full-stack development expertise to design and implement microservices using Spring Boot while working with modern cloud technologies. Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience with Java-based web frameworks.
3+ years of experience leading development teams.
Proficiency in Spring Boot and Java-based microservices architecture.
Experience with Apache projects like Kafka and Camel.
Strong skills in Python, JavaScript, and Node.js.
Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Experience with search tools such as Solr and Elasticsearch.
Experience working in a Linux environment.
Proficiency with version control systems (Git, HG, SVN, BitBucket).
Understanding of microservices, SOA, and event-based architecture.
Experience developing in an e-commerce domain.
Expertise in RESTful API development using JSON.
Experience with DevOps, including configuration and installation of tools like Apache, Nginx, Memcached, and Varnish.
Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Fargate).
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum and SAFe development methodologies.
Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues effectively.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of microservices using Spring Boot.
Conduct technical programming and execute best practices for API and integration development.
Analyze and develop specifications, ensuring feasibility, compatibility, and performance.
Create and maintain technical documentation to support development efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including web administrators, programmers, project managers, external partners, and business owners.
Develop and maintain RESTful web services to support online initiatives.
Work on the entire SDLC, from development to production deployment.
Troubleshoot and optimize systems for better performance and scalability.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
