Full Stack Developer (React and NodeJS)

Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced and versatile Sr. Software Engineer. We build and maintain internal applications for a worldwide tech company based in Los Angeles. These are high-availability applications to support different company processes.

The team's framework is based on empowerment and ownership, where each feature requirement is assigned to a team member who is responsible of it during the complete software development lifecycle.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Full Stack Development: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Expertise in JavaScript & TypeScript: Proficient in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Strong ReactJS Experience: Proven ability to build complex and responsive user interfaces.
  • Solid NodeJS Proficiency: Experience in developing robust server-side applications and APIs.
  • Data Structures & Algorithms: Strong foundational knowledge and practical application of algorithms and data structures.
  • Semantic HTML: Deep understanding and application of semantic HTML best practices for accessibility and SEO.
  • Version Control: Proficient working with Git for collaborative development and code management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Autonomy & Proactiveness: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take ownership, and ramp up quickly on new technologies and projects.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable adapting to changing requirements and design specifications in an agile environment.
  • Continuous Integration/Deployment: Good knowledge and experience with CI/CD processes.
  • Language: Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end technical solutions that meet business requirements and contribute to the overall product vision.
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code across the full stack using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical specifications.
  • Actively participate in the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, ensuring smooth and efficient releases.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and propose innovative solutions, demonstrating a hands-on and results-oriented approach.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving project requirements and design changes, maintaining flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, paying close attention to detail in all aspects of development.
