About the position
This is the leadership position for Marketing at Globalfy, reporting directly to the CEO. There is no layer between this role and the CEO, and no layer between this role and execution. You own the function: strategy, hands-on delivery, and results.
Globalfy helps international entrepreneurs open, operate, and scale companies in the United States. We serve more than 12,000 founders from over 100 countries, primarily across Brazil, Portugal, Spain, and Latin America, in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
The mandate has two halves. Communication: own how Globalfy is understood in every market we serve, in every language we serve it in. Acquisition: own how qualified demand reaches the business, and reduce our dependence on any single channel.
This role is for someone who still builds. You will lead a small team and manage external partners, and you will also be in the tools every week.
Your main responsibilities
The core mandate
Our acquisition has been concentrated in too few channels. Your primary objective in the first year is to build a diversified acquisition base with organic and AI-driven discovery at its center, while keeping paid efficient rather than load-bearing.
Everything below serves that objective.
What you own directly
- Organic discovery and answer-engine visibility: Traditional SEO is table stakes. The questions that drive our business (how to open a US company as a non-resident, LLC versus C-Corp, EIN, non-resident taxation) are increasingly answered inside ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and AI Overviews without a click. You are responsible for Globalfy being the cited source in those answers: entity authority, structured data, presence in the sources models retrieve from, and measurement of that visibility. If this is new territory for you, say so in the process. If you think it is the same as SEO, this is not the right role.
- Multilingual content operation: Volume across PT-BR, PT-PT, neutral Spanish, and EN-US is not achievable with traditional headcount and not acceptable without quality control. You will run an AI-assisted production process with human editorial ownership. Our standard: content must read as written by a practitioner, not generated by a model. Localization means adaptation to the target audience, not translation.
- Paid acquisition: Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube. Efficiency by market and by language, not blended averages.
- Leads Communication: Nurturing, reactivation, and lifecycle communication in HubSpot, coordinated with CX on retention messaging.
- Brand and positioning: Consistency of message across four language variants and three regions.
- Founder and leadership authority: Founder-led content, including the CEO's LinkedIn presence, is currently a real acquisition channel operated by the CEO personally. You will take ownership of structuring, scaling, and measuring it. This is an explicit deliverable, not a favor.
What you delegate and manage
Events and field presence, PR and media relations, design and video production, and technical work. You are accountable for outcomes and for vendor selection and performance, not for execution.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required
Experience
- Advanced English.
- 5 to 7 years in marketing, with at least 2 owning a function or a P&L relevant channel end to end. We are filtering for evidence, not tenure.
- Demonstrated results in organic acquisition and content-led growth, with a portfolio you can walk us through.
- Hands-on operator experience with HubSpot, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Search Console, and an email or lifecycle platform.
- Experience running acquisition in more than one language and more than one country, with real evidence of adaptation rather than translation.
- Experience building or restructuring a content operation using AI tooling with human editorial control. Be ready to describe the workflow, the quality gate, and what broke.
How you work
- You write. Clearly, in English and Portuguese, without a model doing the thinking for you.
- You are analytical by default and comfortable saying a channel is not working before someone asks.
- You build the plane while flying it, and you know which parts of the plane you are not allowed to improvise on.
- You operate with autonomy. In this structure, escalating every decision is a failure mode, not diligence.
- You are at ease in a multicultural team across Brazil, Portugal, Spain, and the United States.
You'll stand out if you…
- Have direct experience with answer-engine optimization, LLM visibility, or entity authority work.
- Have measurement literacy beyond last-click attribution: incrementality testing, geo holdouts, or media mix work.
- Have experience in B2B or B2C services with a considered purchase and a sales-assisted motion.
- Are familiar with cross-border, fintech, professional services, or regulated categories.
What you'll find here
- A true builder's environment, with autonomy and real ownership.
- Space to test ideas.
- A high-performing team and challenging, meaningful projects.
- The opportunity to grow with the company and leave your mark.
Benefits you will have
- Monthly Self-Development & Wellness Budget including language courses (EN, SP and PT).
- PTO balance.
- Birthday off.
- Home office supply budget.
- Sick hours policy.
- Individual development programs.
- Bereavement policy.
- Parental and marriage leave policy.
- Referral bonus.
Schedule
9-5 Eastern time.
