Java Software Engineer (m/f/d) with SAP Integration

Location: Barcelona

We are seeking an SAP Integration & API Developer for a project based in Barcelona, with the option for remote work (local candidates are preferred). The project involves designing and implementing integrations within SAP and eCommerce platforms.

Your tasks

• Design and develop integrations between eCommerce platforms and SAP system landscapes (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI)

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, especially using SAP OData Services and SOAP Web Services

• Create and maintain Open API/Swagger specifications for standardization

• Utilize SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP BTP SDK for implementing cloud-based integrations

• Develop secure and performant interface solutions in compliance with Best Practices for security, performance, and testability

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions in SAP

Must have competences

• Extensive experience with SAP integration technologies: SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, SAP Gateway

• Experience with OData, SOAP, SAP JCo, SAP Cloud SDK

• Very good knowledge in Java & Spring Framework for API development

• Experience in the design and implementation of RESTful Services in SAP environments

• Knowledge in CI/CD processes and automated tests

• Ability to connect complex SAP systems with third-party applications

• Very good technical understanding and self-responsible, structured way of working

Nice to have competences

• Experience in the development of eCommerce solutions with SAP connection

• Knowledge in Security-, Performance-Optimization and Monitoring of interfaces

• Experience in cross-functional teams (e.g., with Frontend, UX, Product Management)

• Analytical thinking and focus on clean, maintainable code quality

Location: Office work in Barcelona min. 60% per week (Remote possible, local candidates preferred)
