Key Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Data Scientist for Supply Chain, you will be instrumental in utilizing data and AI to enhance our global supply network. You will collaborate with diverse teams across various departments, including supply chain, hardware, finance, and testing, to develop data-driven strategies that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and bolster resilience. Initially, your responsibilities will center around data engineering, focusing on constructing robust ETL pipelines and executing comprehensive analyses. As you progress, you will transition to more advanced machine learning and AI initiatives, such as predictive demand forecasting and supply risk modeling.

• Analyze logistics, supplier performance, and inventory data to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Identify opportunities to minimize waste and amplify efficiency within the supply network.
• Assess supplier lead times, pricing trends, and reliability to refine sourcing strategies.
• Optimize shipping routes, warehouse operations, and last-mile delivery through data insights.
• Construct and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
• Develop real-time dashboards to monitor key supply chain metrics and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Create models to evaluate potential supply chain disruptions and demand variability, facilitating proactive solutions.
• Design and refine forecasting models to anticipate demand changes, optimize inventory levels, and prevent supply interruptions.

Required Skills

To excel in this position, you should possess:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in data science or supply chain analytics.
• Expert-level SQL capabilities and hands-on experience developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, forecasting models, and optimization algorithms.
• Familiarity with time series forecasting, optimization models, statistical analysis, and simulations.
• A demonstrated ability to enhance operational efficiency via analytics, machine learning, and AI.
• Experience with data visualization platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Knowledge of supply chain management platforms, ERP systems, or logistics tools.
• Strong business acumen and experience in sales & operations planning (S&OP).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience collaborating with international and distributed teams.

Compensation And Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of \(162,000 to \)203,000 (San Francisco Pay Range). Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions.
