Job Overview

This role is pivotal in advancing data exploitation capabilities for various programs within the U.S. Government, specifically focusing on the Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and develop new algorithms tailored for remote sensor data exploitation.
- Showcase proficiency in Python and C++, with a solid foundation in software design and architecture.
- Create proof-of-concept tools for signal processing, image processing, and data exploitation utilizing Python.
- Enhance existing Python-based tools employed in machine learning, modeling, and simulation tasks.
- Assess the performance and quality of algorithms and sensor systems.
- Collaborate effectively in an Agile team setting, contributing to shared development tools.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience with C++, Python, and Linux operating systems, ideally with over 5 years of professional background (educational experience may substitute for some professional experience).
- Familiarity with remote sensing data types, including OPIR, E/O, SAR, Spectral, RF, or others.
- Strong attention to detail accompanied by excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Boulder, CO.

Compensation And Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of \(117,000 - \)168,000 per year, contingent upon role responsibilities, experience, and educational background.
