Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Director of E-commerce to devise and implement strategies that propel growth and achieve revenue objectives.
- Provide regular performance updates and progress reports to key stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance website architecture for optimal user experiences.
- Utilize analytics to track performance metrics and implement data-driven enhancements.
- Monitor and assess key performance indicators such as traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
- Partner with Marketing and Design teams to ensure the website is visually appealing, functional, and accessible across devices.
- Innovate the shopping experience through personalized content informed by customer feedback.
- Explore and adopt new technologies to improve site functionality.
- Enhance key e-commerce features, including shopping cart, payment systems, and product search capabilities.
- Oversee SEO/SEM strategies to boost online visibility and increase traffic.
- Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and tech partners to align efforts with strategic goals.
- Launch new e-commerce websites and manage ongoing updates.
- Provide regular user experience reviews and performance reports.
- Monitor and report on SEO and SEM performance metrics.
Required Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science or Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with server-side JavaScript.
- At least 3 years of experience in Agile development environments.
- Proficiency in relational or NoSQL databases and API-first services (REST, GraphQL).
- Expertise in Next.js, React, and LAMP stack development.
- Familiarity with Builder.io Headless CMS, Git-based version control, and unit testing best practices.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce, PHP, Shopify, and Azure-based data engineering.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce, website operations, or digital marketing.
- Demonstrated success in leading website initiatives and enhancing user experience.
- Solid understanding of SEO/SEM, UX/UI design, and various e-commerce platforms.
