Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Director of E-commerce to execute strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing growth and driving revenue.
- Regularly generate and present reports detailing website performance metrics and development milestones.
- Optimize website architecture to ensure an efficient and engaging user experience.
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor site performance and implement data-driven enhancements.
- Work in partnership with Marketing and Brand teams to craft visually stunning and functional designs, prioritizing mobile-first navigation.
- Enrich the online shopping experience through personalized content and user feedback integration.
- Assess and adopt new technologies to elevate website performance.
- Improve site features, including shopping cart functionalities, payment processing, and product search capabilities.
- Develop and oversee SEO and SEM strategies to bolster online visibility.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Required Skills
- Strong foundation in Computer Science or Engineering disciplines.
- At least 5 years of experience in server-side JavaScript development.
- Minimum of 3 years in an Agile development setting.
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience in developing API-first services (REST and GraphQL).
- A minimum of 2 years' experience with Next.js and React in web applications, alongside a comprehensive understanding of best practices.
- Experience in LAMP stack development is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Builder.io Headless CMS is preferred.
- Proficiency with modern version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Strong adherence to best development practices, including unit testing and secure secrets management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- At least 3 years of experience in website operations, e-commerce, or digital marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated success in driving website growth and enhancing user experience.
