Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Engineer. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing complex software solutions, maintaining and improving existing codebases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and employing best practices in software development. The role requires proficiency in back-end web development, object-oriented programming, and software engineering principles. Candidates should excel in problem-solving and be able to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Software Development, Back-End Web Development including JS and PHP
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Ability to utilize low/no code tools as well as GenAI pair programming (i.e. Cursor etc...)
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience with cloud-based platforms and micro services architecture is a plus
• Previous experience in leading or mentoring a development team is advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine prompt engineering strategies for LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, etc.) to optimize performance across different use cases.
• Design and build agentic workflows that automate complex processes using AI agents.
• Architect and implement AI-driven automation that integrates with APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Develop custom AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing tasks with minimal human intervention.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to identify opportunities for AI automation and workflow optimization.
• Prototype and ship rapid iterations of AI-powered products with a strong bias for action.
• Stay ahead of the curve on LLM fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and AI infrastructure to enhance system performance.
• Ensure scalability, security, and efficiency in AI-agent deployments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5+ years in a software development role and function
