We have Contract role QA Engineer (IOS + Android Experience) Remote for our client at Philadelphia PA. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.

Position Details:

QA Engineer (IOS + Android Experience) Remote-Philadelphia PA

Location : REMOTE - EST/ PST (PST is 1st preference)

Project Duration : 6+ Months Contract

Pay Rate : $43/hr. on W2

Overview of the team: Team is responsible for Quality assurance & Release Management for Sports Mobile apps.

Key team goals: Delivering high quality Sports Mobile apps reliably.

Important Points

• IOS + Android experience
• Mobile automation testing experience
• Sports domain knowledge
• Pacific time zone

Responsibilities & Expectations

• Primary responsibilities (daily/weekly):
• Collaborate with a cross functional team (Product manager, Engineering lead & engineers) on projects they are assigned to. Proactively generate manual test cases and automate functional tests to ensure the Mobile apps are of high quality.
• Organize bug bashes
• Manage Sports Mobile app releases.
• Utilize industry standard test frameworks to craft automated functional tests.
• Key projects or initiatives for the role:
• Automating functional tests for Sports Mobile apps
• Automate BE API audits
• Success metrics or KPIs for this role:
• Work independently
• Automate the manual processes wherever possible
• Configure automated smoke tests before releasing apps to stores or on a regular cadence and also when BE side changes get pushed to staging or production to catch any regression issues proactively.
• How is success measured?
• Feedback from project managers
• Improved productivity through automation

Candidate Profile

• Must-have skills/qualifications (technical, soft skills, certifications, tools):
• Sports domain knowledge
• Android & iOS Mobile app quality assurance
• Automation testing
• Excellent communication skills
• Nice to have: Mobile app release management skills
• Ideal experience level (years, leadership, industries):
• 5 years of Mobile app Quality Assurance experience
