Senior Java Software Engineer

About the Company: - Gecko Dynamics.

Client: SaaS sourcing platform for raw materials acquisition.

About the Role: Responsible for product development, new features, MVP, and Microservices.

Responsibilities:

• New features
• Product development
• MVP
• Microservices
• Database management

Qualifications:

• Very strong Java experience, familiar with recent releases, common data structures, and JDK APIs
• Extensive Spring Boot experience, with multiple professional experiences in Spring Boot microservices, JPA
• Strong experience with REST and other API protocols
• Solid relational database experience, both in database structure and query language
• Good understanding of git, git flow, GitHub flow, and application development lifecycle

Required Skills:

• Experience with SaaS platforms and understanding of sourcing platforms
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub
• Any Cloud experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team

Pay range and compensation package: Remote (located in UE). No legacy code - 100% development :)
