Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior Engineer (Backend Focus) – Contract (Fully Remote)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer for an exciting contract role starting in May! This is a fully remote opportunity, ideal for experienced engineers who have a strong background in backend technologies like AWS, Java, Typescript, and React. You’ll also have the chance to expand your expertise in the Amazon ecosystem through internal training and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems utilizing AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, RDS, and CDK.
• Build and optimize web applications with React and Typescript.
• Develop robust backend solutions in Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and scale systems.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Stay updated on new AWS technologies and industry trends.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS, RDS, CDK) - AWS Certifications are a big help.
• Proficiency in Typescript, React, and Java.
• Hands-on experience with backend development and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
