As we continue to scale our digital presence, we are seeking a Senior SEO Specialist based in Indonesia to take ownership of our organic growth performance and drive measurable impact across traffic, rankings, and conversions.

THE ROLE

This role reports directly to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for both developing and executing Gaura Travel’s SEO roadmap.

You will take ownership of organic performance, identifying opportunities, implementing improvements, and driving consistent growth. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical capability, commercial awareness, and the discipline to continuously optimise.

We are looking for someone who understands how search drives revenue, not just rankings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSEO Roadmap & Execution

• Develop and maintain a clear SEO roadmap aligned to marketing priorities
• Identify high-value and high-intent keyword opportunities across Australia–India travel segments
• Execute on-page and technical optimisation improvements
• Continuously refine site structure and internal linking for improved visibility

Technical SEO

• Conduct regular technical audits to identify crawl, indexing, and performance issues
• Work closely with developers to implement fixes
• Monitor and improve site speed and Core Web Vitals
• Ensure structured data and schema are correctly implemented

Content & Optimisation

• Optimise key landing pages, campaign pages, and blogs for search intent and conversion
• Provide keyword guidance to content creators
• Ensure metadata, headings, and structured elements align with best practice

Growth & Authority

• Identify backlink opportunities and support outreach initiatives
• Monitor competitor search performance and identify actionable improvements

Performance Ownership

• Track rankings, organic traffic, and conversion contribution
• Provide clear monthly performance reporting with insights and next steps
• Take accountability for ongoing organic growth outcomes

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experienced SEO professional with 3–5+ years of hands-on experience, ideally within travel, e-commerce, or performance-driven industries.

You will bring:

• Strong technical and on-page SEO expertise
• Proven ability to independently execute SEO improvements
• Experience improving both traffic and organic conversion performance
• Proficiency in Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush
• Strong understanding of commercial search intent
• Experience collaborating with developers and marketing teams
• Excellent English communication skills
• Experience working in remote teams supporting international leadership
