Our client, a dynamic and growing restaurant group in the Caribbean, is looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Director to lead their growth strategy and elevate the brand across multiple locations. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in a hands-on leadership role, working closely with the executive team in a small, collaborative environment.
Position Overview:
As the Sales and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and innovative marketing campaigns. You will lead the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, attract new customers, and increase profitability. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring creativity, commercial insight, and a deep understanding of the food and hospitality landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing strategies aligned with the company’s mission and growth goals
- Lead business development and local outreach efforts to increase group bookings, partnerships, and private events
- Build brand awareness and ensure consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints: digital, in-store, PR, and events
- Oversee digital marketing campaigns (social media, email, SEO/SEM, paid advertising) to drive traffic and customer engagement
- Collaborate with operations and culinary teams to promote new menu items, seasonal campaigns, and special events
- Implement customer retention strategies, including loyalty programs and CRM initiatives
- Analyse performance metrics and sales reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify growth opportunities
- Manage media relations, influencer partnerships, and community engagement initiatives
- Lead and mentor a small in-house marketing team, as well as manage external agencies and freelancers
- Own the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 7–10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage industries
- Proven ability to deliver revenue growth through both marketing strategy and direct sales efforts
- Strong digital marketing expertise and experience with tools such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and email platforms
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset and a keen understanding of customer behaviour
- Ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced team with a hands-on approach
- Willingness to be based in the Caribbean and embrace a dynamic, multicultural environment
