Director of Sales & Marketing

Location: Caribbean

Please Note: This is a full-time international role based in the Caribbean, offering relocation support—including a housing allowance—in an idyllic, expat-friendly location.

Are you a results-oriented commercial leader with a passion for driving revenue, building high-impact partnerships, and elevating customer engagement? Do you combine strong sales instincts with strategic marketing expertise—and a love for food, hospitality, and exceptional guest experiences? Our client, a rapidly expanding restaurant group in the Caribbean, is seeking a high-performing Director of Sales & Marketing to accelerate growth across multiple venues.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the commercial engine of an ambitious hospitality group, shaping its sales strategy, expanding market reach, and amplifying its brand across a world-class island destination. You will work closely with ownership and the executive team to deliver measurable revenue growth, unlock new business opportunities, and drive brand visibility at scale.

Position Overview

As Director of Sales & Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of integrated commercial strategies that grow topline revenue, increase market share, and enhance brand presence. This role blends proactive sales leadership with strategic marketing direction—ideal for a driven, entrepreneurial professional who thrives on building business, closing deals, and inspiring teams.

You will own the full sales ecosystem—group bookings, corporate partnerships, events, and new business development—while overseeing a marketing strategy that captivates customers and fuels demand across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Business Development

  • Develop and deploy a high-impact sales strategy to drive revenue across multiple restaurant locations.
  • Proactively secure group bookings, corporate partnerships, private dining events, and strategic local collaborations.
  • Build strong, profitable relationships with hotels, travel partners, tourism boards, event planners, and key market influencers.
  • Identify and pursue new market segments, negotiate major contracts, and manage a structured, results-driven sales pipeline.
  • Align pricing strategies, promotions, and product offerings with revenue targets and profitability goals.

Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth

  • Lead revenue-focused marketing campaigns that directly support sales objectives and brand expansion.
  • Oversee digital performance across social media, email, SEO/SEM, and paid advertising to maximize reach and conversion.
  • Guide creative initiatives that elevate brand identity across venues, events, and media.
  • Partner with culinary and operations teams to commercialize menu launches, seasonal campaigns, and high-profile events.
  • Drive PR, influencer partnerships, and community engagement to expand visibility and generate measurable demand.
  • Analyze performance metrics and market insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.

Leadership & Operations

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a cross-functional sales and marketing team.
  • Manage external agencies and media partners to ensure execution excellence.
  • Own the combined commercial budget with a focus on efficiency, accountability, and clear performance outcomes.
  • Provide the executive team with reporting, insights, and proactive recommendations to support growth objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of senior Sales & Marketing leadership, ideally within hospitality, restaurants, or F&B.
  • Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and expanding brand presence.
  • Strong digital marketing and CRM experience, including Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and analytics tools.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability and a data-driven approach.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing budgets.
