Game Designer & Mathematician

General Summary

We are seeking a creative and analytical Game Designer & Mathematician to join our game development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging slot games and developing the underlying math models.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Making games with a diverse team of Game Designers, Artists, Sound Designers and Software Engineers.
• Utilizing advanced game design, mathematical, and creative skills to create multiple assigned games, focusing on the entire scope of game design elements.
• Executing the full scope of game design activities that involve basic creative thinking, industry and competitive knowledge and technical skills.
• Developing and analyzing game mathematical properties (i.e. pay tables) and the design of updates and changes to pay tables for assigned game applications.
• Creating and maintaining game design documents to ensure the smooth delivery of games through the game development process.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or related fields.
• 3 or more years of slot game design and mathematics experience.
• Proficient at any programming language; C or C++ preferred.
• Proficient at Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to create game concepts and math models.
• Proven ability to work in teams, with managers and other disciplines.
• Must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and be team oriented.

ADDITIONAL VALUED ATTRIBUTES:

• Passion for casino slot and table games.
• Passion for gaming in all its forms (computer, mobile, card and board games).

This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
