Overview
We are seeking a Senior Game Designer who can own gameplay systems end-to-end, design engaging player experiences, and drive feature development from concept to live implementation. This role requires strong systems thinking, hands-on design capability, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, scalable game features.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design of core gameplay systems, ensuring strong player engagement, clarity, and long-term retention
- Design and iterate on player progression, difficulty curves, game flow, and engagement loops across features
- Define and balance in-game economy systems, including rewards, currencies, sinks, and monetization structures
- Create detailed and structured Game Design Documents (GDDs) covering systems, mechanics, user flows, and feature specifications
- Translate high-level product ideas into clear, actionable designs and implementation-ready specifications
- Work closely with engineering and art teams to ensure accurate implementation of design intent in Unity-based development workflows
- Analyze player behavior and game data to identify issues, optimize engagement, and improve feature performance
- Continuously refine existing systems based on live feedback, metrics, and player experience insights
- Contribute to feature planning and design reviews, ensuring alignment with product goals and overall game vision
- Maintain design consistency and ensure all features align with the core gameplay vision and monetization strategy
Requirements

Strong experience in Game Design, with hands-on ownership of gameplay systems or features

Proven expertise in at least some of the following areas:

Strong understanding of F2P game design principles, engagement loops, and retention mechanics

Experience creating and maintaining Game Design Documents (GDDs) for complex systems or features

Experience working with analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, GameAnalytics, Unity Analytics or similar) for decision-making

Familiarity with Unity workflows, including collaboration with developers during implementation and prototyping
Nice to Have
- Experience in game production workflows, including sprint planning, task breakdown, and delivery coordination
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or ClickUp
- Experience working on LiveOps-driven or live service games, including events and live tuning
- Exposure to feature rollout planning, A/B testing, and post-launch optimization cycles
