You will also parachute into conversions with other clients when they need a more senior, strategic person to speak with across all our services . You will also help coach our team of account managers and be the go-to escalation point when they need help.
We’re looking for cultural fit as much as a skills fit. Galactic Fed has a fun, inviting, and low-ego internal culture that you’ll be responsible for carrying forward as well. You will be one of the foremost ambassadors of our brand to clients - and that’s a big responsibility!
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership, Mentorship & Culture Stewardship
Serve as a senior partner to the AVP of Client Success
Step in on client escalations and complex strategic questions, providing calm, confident leadership that keeps both clients and internal teams aligned.
When necessary or requested by more junior AMs, be willing to jump into conversations with other clients to solve problems, develop strategies, and diffuse conflicts.
Mentor and coach team members to grow their strategic thinking and client communication to ensure we do things the right way - not the easy way.
Be an example of accountability, strong judgment, and a solutions-focused mindset under pressure.
Serve as a cultural ambassador through high-quality communication, collaboration, and client care.
Strategic Account Ownership & Relationship Management
Translate goals into cross-channel roadmaps across paid media, SEO, creative, CRO, lifecycle, AI opportunities and more.
Lead high-stakes conversations with calm, executive presence to resolve complex issues and realign teams.
Oversee the success and develop long-term growth plans tied to client business goals of our Tier 1, highest priority client relationships.
Processes and Systems
Identify recurring issues and inefficiencies across teams, propose solutions, and help implement improvements.
Provide feedback to help us document and standardize internal processes and best practices.
Identify recurring issues affecting performance and profitability, and figure out how to solve them.
Commercial & Financial Leadership
Through relationship-building, mentorship, and strategy, you will improve client account profitability and growth to achieve client goals and agency revenue targets.
Identify and drive upsell and expansion opportunities that support client outcomes and agency growth.
Note: while it’s good for you to have strong prior experience within one or more marketing channels, this is not a “pulling levers inside the ad platform” job. You will not be doing much, if any implementation work - rather, you will be managing relationships with clients, developing plans and strategies, and delegating the implementation to other members on our team.
You will not be managing any direct reports in this role, however you project manage people in a “dotted line” relationship. You will be a “big brother / big sister” coach and mentor to a variety of team members, and as you grow and develop into this role. The goal is to free up as much of your time as possible to do the really important work: leading great marketing for our clients, and keeping them happy! If it aligns with your future career interests, it is likely that you will have future opportunities to manage a team of direct reports, pending our needs.
