Company Overview:
Gainbridge, a part of the Group 1001 enterprise, is a self-managed, innovative, digital platform providing its clients with direct access to trusted financial products to smartly grow their savings over time. Gainbridge strives to offer products through its platform that are simple, intuitive, and backed by smart technology with no complexity or hidden fees. Gainbridge empowers clients to take control of the financial future with simple solutions that are accessible to everyone no matter their budget.
Why This Role Matters:
We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own how we bring Gainbridge products to life for consumers. You'll be the voice of the customer inside our walls — and the voice of Gainbridge in the market. Your job is to make complex financial products feel simple, accessible, and worth trusting.
This role sits at the heart of our consumer growth engine, partnering closely with Product, Brand, Creative, and Growth to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion across all our channels.
How You'll Contribute:
- Own positioning and messaging for Gainbridge's consumer product portfolio, ensuring every touchpoint speaks to real customer motivations and anxieties around saving.
- Lead go-to-market launches end-to-end — from insight to strategy to creative brief to post-launch measurement.
- Develop deep customer understanding through qualitative research, user interviews, and behavioral data; turn those insights into sharper messaging, better onboarding, and stronger conversion.
- Partner with Growth and Performance Marketing to build full-funnel messaging frameworks — from top-of-funnel awareness (paid social, partnerships, influencer) through mid-funnel nurture to purchase and retention.
- Create consumer-facing content and copy frameworks (landing pages, email sequences, explainer content, and in-app messaging) that reduce friction and build trust.
- Collaborate with Brand and Creative teams on campaigns that translate Gainbridge's mission into emotionally resonant storytelling.
- Track funnel metrics (traffic, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, activation) and use them to iterate on messaging and channel strategy.
- Partner with Strategy to monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to keep Gainbridge's positioning sharp and differentiated.
What We're Looking For:
- 6+ years of product marketing experience with a clear focus on B2C or direct-to-consumer products.
- Experience working in a startup, scale-up, or early-stage environment where you had to build processes, operate with minimal structure, and adapt quickly to change. We're a small, fast-moving team — you need to be someone who rolls with the punches, not someone who needs an established playbook to thrive.
- Deep empathy for the everyday consumer — you understand how people actually think about money, savings, and financial decisions (not how financial services companies think they do).
- Proven ability to simplify complex, regulated, or unfamiliar products into compelling consumer narratives.
- Strong grasp of performance marketing principles — you know how messaging connects to funnel metrics and aren't afraid to own the numbers.
- Experience developing creative briefs and collaborating with brand/creative teams to bring campaigns to life.
- Sharp writer — you can produce clean, clear copy as a baseline, even if execution gets handed off.
- Analytical and curious; comfortable in dashboards, A/B test results, and qualitative research alike.
- Background in fintech, insurtech, banking, or personal finance is a strong plus — but the right marketer who can learn the space fast will be considered.
How This Role Connects to Our Values:
We look for product leaders with a proven ownership mindset, who dig into problems and opportunities with minimal direction. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by learning, experimentation, and iterating on product strategies with others. We support whole-person growth through flexibility, development, and inclusive practices, and are committed to building a diverse team that reflects the customers we serve.
Compensation:
- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $155,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $190,000/year plus bonus in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
