The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
- Lead the overall execution of the COSMOS Sustainment and Capability Enhancement Services program, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with security and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including senior leadership, government clients, and contractors, to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with technical teams, such as Senior Full Stack Developers and DevSecOps professionals, to ensure successful software development and system integration.
Project Planning and Execution:
- Define the scope, goals, and deliverables of the program, and create detailed project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure the program's success.
- Develop risk management plans and contingency strategies to mitigate potential issues throughout the program lifecycle.
- Monitor program progress, track key milestones, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
Quality and Security Compliance:
- Ensure the program adheres to DoD Cloud Native Access Point and NIST zero trust security requirements, including integration with Secure Access Service Edge solutions.
- Oversee the development of secure coding practices and the integration of cybersecurity measures to mitigate vulnerabilities in the system.
- Ensure that all code, development efforts, and deployment pipelines are consistent with DevSecOps processes and best practices.
Team Management:
- Supervise cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and engineers, to ensure productivity and successful outcomes.
- Mentor and guide team members, providing direction and leadership to help develop their skills and foster collaboration.
- Conduct regular meetings and reviews with the development team to ensure goals are being met and any blockers are addressed.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation on project schedules, risks, resources, and outputs for internal and external reporting.
- Prepare and present status reports, program updates, and risk assessments to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all program deliverables are properly documented and stored in the appropriate repositories for future reference.
Customer and Stakeholder Relations:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that customer requirements and expectations are met.
- Provide regular updates and transparent communication to the USG (United States Government) and other stakeholders regarding program progress, challenges, and changes.
Qualifications:
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (required).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience managing large-scale software development programs, preferably within the defense or government sectors.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary teams (including software engineers, security professionals, and testers).
- Strong background in DevSecOps, agile project management methodologies, and cloud-based software solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience working with DoD security and compliance frameworks, particularly NIST and zero trust principles.
- Familiarity with enterprise software architectures, including microservices, APIs, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Previous experience in managing client relationships and delivering complex technical solutions on time and within budget.
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for dealing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High level of proficiency in project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Deep understanding of risk management, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation within a program management context.
- Ability to think strategically while also paying attention to operational details and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
