I’m working with a well-established quantitative trading firm operating across global crypto markets, hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their Trading Infrastructure team.

This is not a generic backend role. The work sits right at the core of live trading operations. The systems you build will directly support real-time execution, exposure management and capital allocation across multiple exchanges.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable building low-level, high impact systems where correctness really matters. If you enjoy solving complex problems, thinking deeply about failure scenarios and building software that has to perform under pressure, this will suit you.

What you’ll be doing

Building backend services that coordinate actions across multiple external platforms
Designing logic to route, split and retry requests when things go wrong
Developing systems that track balances, leverage and exposure in real time
Adding safeguards that prevent risky states and trigger automatic corrections
Working closely with engineers and traders to turn strategy into reliable production systems

The environment is fast moving and the systems are always live. This is business critical infrastructure, not side projects.

What they’re looking for

5+ years building complex backend systems
Strong experience with compiled languages such as Rust, C++, C, C#, Java, Go or .NET
Solid understanding of algorithms and performance conscious development
Someone who can reason clearly about cause and effect across distributed systems
Comfortable taking ownership of critical components

Experience in trading, fintech or crypto would be useful, but it is not essential. Strong engineers from other high-performance domains are welcome.
