Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and applications on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices. This role requires a combination of technical depth, problem-solving abilities, and excellent collaboration skills to deliver robust and scalable cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions using AWS services
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Implement and maintain security best practices across cloud environments
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs
DevOps & Automation
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
- Implement automation solutions for infrastructure and application management
- Create and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
Development & Implementation
- Develop serverless applications using AWS services and Python
- Write and maintain Lambda functions and associated services
- Implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions
- Collaborate with development teams on application architecture and deployment
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, preferably with AWS
- Strong proficiency in AWS core services (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
- Proven experience with DevOps methodologies and tools
Preferred Technical Skills
- AWS services and best practices and certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or SysOps Administrator Associate)
- Microservices and serverless architectures
- Experience with container orchestration
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Python development
- CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Security best practices
- Monitoring and logging tools

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
