About the Role

Future Firm provides expert coaching, proven systems and an awesome community to accounting firm owners wanting to unlock freedom and growth in their business. We’re a fast-growing membership-based company with over 750 members worldwide, and we’re looking for a Director of Marketing to help us reach more accounting firm owners.

Reporting to our COO, you’ll own marketing strategy, execution, team performance, and results, turning company priorities into clear plans and leading the team that brings them to life. A key part of the role is helping us scale our founder-led content without losing the distinct voice, personality, and quality that has built trust with our audience.

Who You Are

• You have 5+ years of experience as a marketing leader and can think strategically while staying close enough to the work to ensure great execution.
• You know how to turn the goals of a 7-figure business into focused marketing priorities and measurable results.
• You understand founder-led content and know how to scale it without diluting the distinct voice, personality, and point of view that connects with an audience, including thoughtfully using technology and AI to improve workflows and strengthen content outputs.
• You’ve led and developed a lean marketing team, setting clear expectations and holding people accountable for their high quality outputs.
• You have broad organic digital marketing experience across content, campaigns, audience growth, acquisition, and partnerships. Bonus points if you have experience managing email, social media, and long-form video content.
• You’re data-driven and curious, using performance insights and experimentation to spot opportunities and improve results.
• You’re organized, proactive, and comfortable owning a marketing function with a high degree of autonomy.
• You communicate clearly and collaborate well across teams in a remote environment.
• You are willing to work at least half of your time during EST hours.
• The pay range for this role is between $3,500-$4,000 per month.

What You’ll Do

• Own Future Firm’s marketing strategy and planning, translating company goals into clear priorities, campaigns, timelines, and measures of success.
• Lead the marketing team, providing clear priorities, guidance, feedback, and accountability.
• Oversee marketing initiative execution across content, email, partnerships, and other channels.
• Own and protect Future Firm’s brand, voice, positioning, and content quality, building systems that help the team turn founder ideas and perspectives into compelling content as production scales.
• Use performance data and structured experimentation to improve messaging, audience growth, and member acquisition.
• Ensure tracking and reporting provide clear visibility into marketing performance.
• Collaborate across the business to keep marketing priorities aligned with company goals.
• Build and improve the systems and processes that help the marketing team operate effectively and consistently.

Recruitment Process

1. Your application will be reviewed and those moving to the next step will be asked to complete a brief 5-question one-way video interview where you will answer questions on your own time via your webcam.
2. Following that, successful candidates moving to the next step will be asked to take part in a 1-on-1 video interview with up to 3 people from our team.
3. Candidates making it to this step will be asked to complete a paid trial project.
