We build marketing-led growth programs for seed stage through series A digital health & wellness startups.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for both growth and long-term retention strategies that drive activation, retention and monetization, as well as identifying opportunities for re-engagement and customer LTV. The right person for the job will have experience and expertise in email & SMS marketing – specifically in the areas of email strategy/planning, metrics and analytics.
Experience with Klaviyo is required. Industry experience in digital health & wellness a plus. This is a part-time contract role to start.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of a CRM messaging and content strategy and roadmap that will drive growth, retention, and subscription revenue for subscription. Leverage a multi-channel approach with an emphasis on email marketing and SMS.
- Develop segmentation and targeting strategies for marketing campaigns and lifecycle flows. Utilize segmentation tools to develop optimal audiences.
- Define, gather, and organize requirements for developing automated lifecycle journey messaging for new subscribers and reconnects.
- Develop and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns by developing strategy, identifying customer segments, and key messages.
- Build, test, and optimize engagement and retention programs, making continuous improvements based on performance, trends, insights; regularly report out metrics.
- Identify new opportunities to increase engagement from active and lapsed subscribers.

Qualifications
- 3+ years in CRM and lifecycle marketing with proven hands-on experience driving strategy, growth and retention via customer segmentation and multi-channel (email, SMS) automated campaigns
- Experienced with email CRM platforms, including Klaviyo, Iterable
- Strong communication skills, with client & external teams
