Location: Remote, but requires US Residency in one of the following states:
Alabama, Alaska, Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia
Time Commitment: 40 hours per week (M-F)
Compensation: Fair and competitive pay plus opportunities for bonuses and commissions.

Description:
FundEasy is seeking a Marketing Director to join our team. This pivotal role will spearhead all marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and support revenue growth. This role is responsible for leading the Marketing Team, crafting strategic marketing initiatives, and ensuring the alignment of all campaigns with the organization’s goals and values. The Marketing Director plays a key leadership role in defining and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to support FundEasy’s mission and vision.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead & Manage the Marketing Team – Oversee scheduling, support, documentation, team meetings, and professional development.
- Strategic Planning & Execution – Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention. Align efforts with company objectives and operational plans.
- Cross-Department Collaboration – Work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure marketing efforts support overall business goals.
- Performance Analytics – Track and report key marketing metrics, leveraging data to refine strategies and optimize results.
- Marketing Oversight – Plan and execute campaigns across digital and traditional platforms. Ensure brand consistency, oversee social media presence, and manage website updates.
- Content Creation & Vendor Management – Create or oversee marketing materials, including copy, graphics, and print assets. Manage relationships with contractors and vendors as needed.
- Meetings, Travel & Representation – Participate in leadership meetings, all-staff meetings, and board meetings (as needed). Travel for the annual planning meeting and attend conferences as required.
Success Metrics:
- Volume of leads generated via digital marketing sufficient to yield 350+ new customers for FundEasy in 2025
- Strong long-term ROI measured via:
- LTV:CAC ratio > 4:1
- Magic Number > 1.0
- Strong digital marketing metrics measured via:
- Organic website traffic
- Improved keyword rankings
- User engagement (e.g. average session duration, pages per session, etc.)
- Enhanced CTR and CVR across channels (e.g. newsletter signups, whitepaper downloads, discovery call bookings, etc.)
- High quality backlink profile, targeting increases in domain authority and reputable referring domains
- Social media engagement, including likes/reactions, comments, shares, impressions, reach, sentiment analysis, share of voice, etc.
- Email engagement, including open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, bounce rate, unsubscribe rate, list growth rate, etc.
Top Skills/Qualifications:
- Core Competencies: Strong self-management with excellent time management and workload prioritization; resourceful, independent, and remote troubleshooting abilities while being a collaborative team player; honest, communicative, and eager to learn and grow.
- MUST have education/formal training in marketing or a related field.
- MUST have 3-5 years of marketing experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a creative, data-driven team.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Ability to recognize and immediately communicate with the General Manager when plans need to pivot.
- Must be competent with computers and internet technologies, including, but not limited to:
- CRMs, marketing platforms, and collaborative tools.
- Software platforms: ClickUp, Slack, Google Suite
- Highly proficient in marketing tools and platforms, including HubSpot, Canva, Google Analytics, MailChimp, and social media management software.
- Proven expertise in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, social media, content, and email marketing.
- Hands-on experience planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to evaluate campaign performance and adjust strategies to achieve goals.
- ROI-focused thinking.
Requirements:
- Quiet home office with High-Speed Internet.
- Willingness to travel several times per year and represent FundEasy.
- Must have nonprofit or ministry experience within our target markets (faith-based nonprofits) or in a closely related sector. An understanding of fundraising processes is preferred.
- Previous experience with FundEasy Software is preferred.
