Software Engineer – REMOTE

Full Visibility is seeking a Software Engineer to remotely support a mission focused project. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to attend quarterly planning meetings in the Washington, D.C. area.

We are seeking a mission-driven Software Engineer with strong Python expertise and experience developing within DevSecOps and Agile SAFe environments. The ideal candidate is excited by scalable systems, automation, and continuous delivery. You will contribute to high-impact systems while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to drive secure, maintainable software.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• At least three (3+) years of software development experience, with a primary focus on Python.
• Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and microservices using Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles, tools, and pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), and containerized development.
• Experience working in Agile teams, with exposure to SAFe practices.
• Comfort working in Linux/Unix-based systems.

Additional Requirements

• Proficiency or strong familiarity with Go (Golang).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Amazon EKS).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code ( IaC -- e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Prior experience supporting DoD or other government applications is a preferred.
